Has anyone attempted to use a Firepower NGFW to stop duplicate UDP packets from continuing to propagate through a network?
I have voice streams which are UDP based that are being purposely replicated/copied in a mobile radio network and based on how the radio solution behaves the first UDP packet reaches the destination and then a second copy of the first UDP packet is received 200ms to 600ms later. The duplicate UDP packet/packets affect voice quality adversely.
A vendor recommendation (not a Cisco vendor) was advocating for a product by GigaMon which offers a packet de-duplication feature.
I would like to use a NGFW appliance with appropriate license and configuration (IPS or Application Control) to do this, but I cannot find what I am looking for via FMC or in online articles about such.
Is this something Firepower can do?
Thoughts?
