OSPF over vPC issue after rebooting N7K

Hi All

I have two N7k switches connected to FW using vPC and running OSPF over vPC and it work fine in both N7K switches and stable, the line card is F3, the issue is for example:

1. when rebooting the first switch, the OSPF between second switch and FW is stable and there is no packet drop.

2. Once the first switch came up, I noticed that the OSPF between second switch and FW went down and the port-channel as well, I have 10 packets drop.

what is the issue or what is the configuration should be done?

Thanks

is the packet drop the whole network or towards FW ?

Do you have any network diagram of how this FW connected. ?  is the FW preempt also when the first switch comes back?

can you post-show the version and relevant running-config.

"Once the first switch came up, I noticed that the OSPF between second switch and FW went down and the port-channel as well"

To me, this sounds like a vpc related problem. Share the "show logging log" from both vpc peers, but make sure that the time is in sync.

Also, information like topology and running config related to the problem (vpc, interface cfg) is relevant.

Stay safe,

check the inconsistency,
if there is problem then the Port-channel will be down.
