Hello,
Being new to Cisco Voice, apologies in advance if it's a very basic question.
Is this possible to associate multiple end users to one extension, the idea is anyone of them can login using CUCM end user page and set up the call forwarding for that extension.
TIA
Salman

I tested this on my lab and it working. Multiple end user can control the same device. I tried turning on and offing the call forward to VM.
If its just call forwarding, you can do that from the phone itself.

Thanks for replying.
I also did something which seems to work. Here is what i did;
- Searched one of users which needed access to that shared extension from User Management> End User
- Add the device from the device association section
Then when i logged into the uc end user page, i could see the second device as well and could setup the forwarding. Is this something similar to what you did? Also i wonder if this would work the same end users ?
The end goal is that any one of these users can access the extension from the uc end user page and can setup the forwarding.

This does work.
It would allow any of the users to adjust any of the extensions on the device - not just the target line.
It also may "leak" the device into the desk phone control list for Jabber/Webex.
