Hello!
I cannot upgrade from 11.0.1.20000-2 to 11.0.1.22900-14.
First I got the error saying that there is not enough disk space in the common partition to perform the upgrade (referring to CSCul50066).
Then I used ciscocm.free_common_space_v1.3.k3.cop.sgn to free up some space but it failed as well with the error message:
.. the cop file has not been installed because you have more than 25 gb of diskspace in /common...
That was confusing!
Then I experimented with the LogPartitionHigh/Low WatermarksExceeded alerts in RTMT as advised in CSCul50066. No success again.
So after all, I came to the situation that the upgrade process is just hanging, the only thing I can do is to cancel it.
The CLI says the following:
=====================
admin:utils system upgrade status
An error has occured but no messages on the upgrade failure are available . Please review the install logs for additional details.
Upgrade status: Failed
Upgrade file: UCSInstall_UCOS_11.0.1.22900-14.sgn.iso
Upgrade log: install_log_2016-09-26.05.39.27.log
======================
Could you please advise?

You can manually increase the size of the vdisk, shut down the effected server and increase the disk size from within vSphere client, you can do this from v10.0(1) and above without the need to install an additional cop file.
Once this has been increased, boot the server and follow the upgrade procedure again.
Regards,
Richard
