Hello All,
I are using 2 4FXS/DID card and have a problem with it. They seem to generate a Hum on the lines they are connected to. We have ad the Bell and the Cabling cimpany out there and after they disconnect our cards the Hum goes way when we are reconnected the Hum re-appears. anyone have any ideas?

Hearing an AC hum is often caused by grounding issues. Check to be sure that your router is being grounded through the AC outlet. You might also try grounding the router chassis directly.
The other possibility is a faulty power supply in the router. You would need to replace the router to determine if this is the source.

Do you have powered or powerless phones, plugged into the FXS ports? If powered can you try powerless phones? Also what happens if you connect the phone directly to the routers?
