Good day,
I have Cisco 8845 IP phone. When it receive or initiate a call, the Caller/Called is showing on the screen added to CUCM IP address
e.x. 99999999@10.171.1.12
CUCM System version: 8.6.2.25900-8
any way to hide the IP address ?

What's your "URI Dialing Display Preference" ccm service parameter set to? If it's already set to "DN", there are some firmware issues with older phones but which are fixed in later versions. If it's set to "DN" already, I'd check the firmware version of an example phone and try an update.

Hello,
below is TAC engineer reply
I investigated further about this issue, and tested in the lab the behavior.
I can confirm that the firmware version “10.3.2.16” is affected with Defect ID: CSCut12879
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCut12879/?reffering_site=dumpcr
Symptom:
8841 Phone Displays SIP URI When Dialing
user@domain.com is displayed and it shouldn't be.
Conditions:
8841 Phone Displays SIP URI When Dialing
user@domain.com is displayed and it shouldn't be.
Only with 88XX phones, and ONLY when onHook dialing, the URI its presented rather than DN.
No other phone present this behavior.
I upgraded the firmware version of the 8845 IP phone to the fix version, and tested again, the issue resolved successfully.
Action Plan:
=========
- Please perform the upgrade to the 8845 IP phone model to firmware version: “cmterm-8845_65-sip.11-5-1SR1-1.k3.cop.sgn”. Kindly find it available to download in the link below:
