Hi Everyone,
I have generated a CSR for UCCX tomcat certificate. Upon checking with the customer, they wanted to change the details in the Subject field, specifically for the Organization and Locality field. But in any Cisco OS admin I haven't seen any way of modifying these fields. I only see them when generating CSR in expressways.
Is there any way I can modify them? Or can it be modified from their Certificate Authority upon signing of the CSR and would still result in a matching hash with the CSR?
Thank you!
Kenneth

You cannot change the subject details, it is automatically generated.
To change fields like location, organization, ... you have to change them via CLI first, and not while generating the CSR.

If you want to change it you'd have to alter it from CLI.
admin:set web-security ? Syntax: set web-security orgunit orgname locality state [country] [alternatehostname] orgunit mandatory organizational unit orgname mandatory organizational name locality mandatory location of organization state mandatory state of organization country optional country code can not be changed alternatehostname optional alternate host name admin:

Those are set during the installation and can be changed using set web-security command from cli.

Does making any changes require Server reboot or restart Call Manager Service
