Hi
Is there a way to see the status of a SIP-trunk in CUCM 9.1.2?

RTMT has multiple ways you can see if a SIP trunk is up and how many calls are active on it. That is probably your easiest way if you arent familiar with CUCM.
Does it term to a gateway first like a CUBE , their are also multiple CLI commands you can enter to show you want is going on..

Which type of Nortel, Option(11, CS1k, 81) or Carrier (Sl100\CS2100)?
Have you turned on your debugs to see what happens when you try and route calls to that SIP trunk?
Also RTMT gives you multiple dashlets, same with Prime Collab AA , to see the state of a SIP trunk.

Their is a way on the CS1k to see access on trunks..If I remember right LD60 but I dont remember if that is just TDM or all trunks..Anyway that is the Nortel side and not Cisco.
Firewalls can causes issues with a setup like that for sure.
Beyond that look at a real time data parse in RTMT for a call you tried and over to the far right does it show the call completing?
Is the call getting to your egress\CUBE, DEBUG CCSIP MESSAGES..Also run DNA and make sure your routing to that trunk is good.

You dont have access to the Nortel side right?
You can still confirm the validity of the SIP trunk via RTMT..It's not like it's going to work only when you place calls.
When you place a call across it what do you get? Reorder or an ann? What does a real time data parse show you?

There is no way to see the status of SIP Trunk in CUCM, as suggested by Andrew you can use RTMT to monitor the call activity on a particular SIP Trunk.

Hi Tony,
If the SIP stack on the other side support options ping you would be able to get the status on SIP trunk
example
The Status Reason codes are provided below:
Local=1 (request timeout)
Local=2 (local SIP stack is not able to create a socket connection with the remote peer)
Local=3 (DNS query failed)

Have you added OOB SIP options anabled on the trunk on the cucm end. this fucntions as a keepalive across the trunk and will tell you if the far end is responding or not (please not that this only works if the far ends supports it and responds)
