Is there a way to enter admin setup in order to set the phone for factory default without knowing the administrator passcode??
It seems someone change the passcode and forgot about it.
TIA,

I opened a case about this and they told me the only way would be to get a replacement unit if it is supported under SmartNet.
In otherwords, there is no user defined option to set back to factory defaults.
Crazy if you ask me.

Hi, Have had the same problem with a couple of 7935's after an upgrade of the code, it corrupted the admin password and was unable to acces the phone config, found a bug ID listed on cisco ( can not remeber ID off top of my head ) but you need to do **1 on the 7935, it will reboot and be back to factory defaults.
Cheers

I already try that without any luck. Is there other way in order to reset the IP Phone to factory default without knowing the admin password?
TIA,
-Jose
