I have CM 3.3.3 with extension mobility configured. I have 7940 that requires 2 Line when a user logs in. For some apparent reasons I could only get one line displayed. However if I log into a 7960 with that same profile I could get 2 lines. Is it a limitation of the 7940 to support only 1 line?

Does the 7940 phone configured with standard 7940 (or oneline 7940) phone button template?

Hi I've had this problem as well. The issue is the user device profile may be configured with two lines, and the logged-out profile/default profile may be a two line, but the logged in EM profile for a 7940 defaults to a single line 7940.
Unfortunately it's a cluster wide setting under:
Service->Service Parameters->Select Call Manager->Select Extension Mobility Logout as the Service ->
7940 Template for EM Login. Select your two line template here.
You can only have one template for logged in 7940's, which is a bit of a pain.
