Hello,
First of all, I want to say that I have very little knowledge of VoIP and collaboration technologies... sorry if question is dumb.
I have a costumer who bought a BE4000 and he is asking me how can he connect fax machine to BE4000. From my datasheet reading I understand I can connect fax machines to FXS ports... the problem is that they have 5 fax machines in 5 different buildings.
So my idea is:
- connect VG202XM to an FXS port of BE4000 (let's call it Hub VG202)
- connect 5 Fax Machines to other 5 VG202XM in other buildings
- associate five fax DDI's to FXS port, where one VG202XM is connected
- use dial peers to route fax connections from Hub VG202 to VG202XM in other buildings
- in VG202XM map DDI to FXS ports
Basically I would covert analog to IP and again to analog... is this a supported design? Anyone tried this before?
Thanks and regards.

We currently submit a TAC case and the answer is the ATA190 is not supported by BE4000:

Does anyone manage to configure the ATA190 on BE4000 ?
Thanks
