Hi, I am having issues. All my VIC2-2FXO and VIC2-4FXO are picking up, then hanging up right away. I tried them on 1760s and 2811s. I tried a combination of supervisory disconnect, but can't get it to work. On 1760s, if I put a VIC-2FXO in the place of the VIC2-2FXO it works just fine. Is there a special command needed for VIC2s???

Which exact IOS were you using? Can you take a trace with "debug vpm signal" and then send it with config.
10-31-2007 06:50 AM
Also can you try "no supervisory disconnect signal" under voice-port.
10-31-2007 07:26 AM
I tried that command on the FXO.

Hi, this happens with all the IOSs that I have tried, with 2811 and 1760s. I reproduced the problem. I connected 2 2811 together. 1 with a VIC-4FXS/DID and the other has a VIC2-4FXO. I created a Dial-peer on the FXS router that points out the FXS port. When I go off hook with an analog phone and dial that dial peer. It rings, then disconnects me. This happens regardless if it's an analog phone calling or an IP phone calling, or even another gateway. Isn't the FXO suppose to pick up and play a dial tone???
