How is everyone handling 911 with the room devices?  If you have room devices with Touch10 and allow outbound calls, are you worried about 911?  Just wondering how other engineers are handling

Environment

Room devices with DID's

SIP Trunks

Cloud registration

No local Call Managers

Appreciate any recommendations

Hi,

you might have gone through this already, - where Cisco says below;

Cisco Webex Teams clients on mobile voice platforms will break out and use the mobile voice service for 911 calls. Other than this, Cisco Webex Teams provides no information which can be used to locate the client for the purpose of routing to the correct Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or informing the PSAP of the caller's location. Hybrid Call Service customers must make their own arrangements for handling 911 calls from Cisco Webex Teams clients, such as screening by their own security or engaging a 3rd-party service.

If you’re using Hybrid Calling to CUCM then normal call routing logic applies; it’s a Phone (Spark RD) with a Device Pool, LRG, etc. If you have CER then you would need to manually map the DN to an ERL the line as you would with analog ports.

If you’re using Webex Calling to IntelePeer then you would set the ALI on the Place in Control Hub.
