Hi,
I've inserted a new card of 48 ports 10/100/1000 in a Cisco 7600.
45 seconds after the new card passed the diagnostic and becomes up, I've receipt the next message from the Standby SLB:
'%CSM_SLB-6-REDUNDANCY_INFO: Module 5 FT info: State Transition Standby -> Active'
And after 1 second, the SLB becomes standby again.
What could be the cause of this message?
Is it a BUG? (122-17d.SXB7)
Thanks.

Hi,
I know that the message indicates a change in the status of the standby card. After this message, there is another indicating that this card return to standby state.
In the moment that standby card became active, the active one realized that there was a duplicate IP address, and logged a message indicating this.
I want to know if there is a known bug with CSM software (4.2.2) or in the supervisor software (12.2(17d)SXB) that causes the standby unit to become active while inserting a new card in the chassis.
Thanks.
