I am pretty new to ISE and wireless networks, so I'm not sure if this topology will work fine.
Currently, I have a server with ESXi installed. So far, the hypervisor contains a Windows Server VM as the domain controller as well as the ISE VM. Both the server and the PC are connected with a L3 switch. I am planning to connect the WLC to the switch and then configure two LWAPPs (guest and private), one of which will have an IP phone connected to it.
I would like to know if this will be a fully functioning system or if there is a better way to do it.

@sleepless swan yes this is possible. you can add AD and WLC to ISE and create required policies to allow/filter users/traffic in ISE.
Good luck
