the trapd.conf is based on trap oid/MIBs, not on devices. What traps do you want to see?

Load the appropriate MIBs from cisco.com/public/mibs and it should update the NNMs trapd file for you.

Not entirely true.

It's correct that the traps will be added to trapd.conf, but you need manually to update the severity, the alarm text and the alarm category (this type of information is not included in a TRAP-TYPE definition). All traps loaded in this way will show up in the NNM trap configuration as "don't log or display) i.e. you

What´s about using the Integration Tool and the nmidb file provided by Cisco. With this it should not be necessary to do anything manual (or am I wrong).

You are right. Question is whether it contains all the trap definitions you need (dynamic world you know).
