Hi,
If I buy two C3650 and want to stack them, do I need two stacking kits?
I see that in the kit the following parts are included:
Cisco Catalyst 3650 Stack Module x2
STACK-T2-50CM x1

I think you are right, to make the stack you need an adapter for each switch so it's seems the upgrade kit is enough.
I think that it's better to connect the switch using two cables to have a loop and avoid a failure will broke the stack but I think it could work also with just a cable

Hi;
It’s always recommended to connect 2 x switches via 2 stack cables, but Stack can work on single cable.
In case if your switches connect with 2 x stack cable and one of the stack port is flapping and causing instability in the stack ring or disable the stack port, then the stack will operates at half bandwidth.

Thanks & Best regards;

I will go with two stack kits so I can create a loop in case of a failure.
