Hi,
I've been trying to solve an issue with CRCs and slips on a AT&T MPLS T1. Recently the telco told us they were supplying clock on the line and of course we wanted to make sure we were getting clock from the line so we attempted to add this command to have it get clock from the MPLS circuit
Router(config)#network-clock-select 1 T1 0/2/1
*** Controller T1 0/2/1 is NOT deriving Clock from Line
The same 2811 has a second AT&T IP Flex circuit so I tried that one and it works.
Router(config)#network-clock-select 1 T1 0/2/0
Then it displays this
Router#sh run | in netw
network-clock-participate wic 2
network-clock-select 1 T1 0/2/0
Router#sh netw
Network Clock Configuration
---------------------------
Priority Clock Source Clock State Clock Type
1 T1 0/2/0 GOOD T1
10 Backplane GOOD PLL
Current Primary Clock Source
---------------------------
Priority Clock Source Clock State Clock Type
1 T1 0/2/0 GOOD T1
I don't think this had had intended effect as serial 0/2/1 is still getting crcs and slips.
Is there some way to tell serial 0/2/1 to use clock from serial 0/2/0 or what is a good solution?
Thanks.
