Hi,

not sure if i understand this question correct.

In general a

global command

means that it is NOT interface specific, or subcommand specific on a router.

It affects the behaviour of the router as a whole, not a individual interface or task.

I.e.

ipx routing

is a global command

interface ethernet 4/1

ipx network ....

is a interface subcommand.

thanks...

Matthias

what of the following descriptions best descripe the global command??

a- a command that avilaleble in every IOS relases

b- a command that can be entered witin any configuration mode.
