Hello!
The recomendations for vpc peer-keepalive link said thats for dedicated link 1 Gigabit is sufficient.
If we need to use L2 switch to connect nexuses peer-keepalive link, and we have only FastEthernet ports in that switch, is it will be enough 100mbit connection for peer-keepalive link?

Hi Sergey,
The vPC Peer-Keepalive only carries heartbeat packets to check remote vPC member health in case of vPC Peer-Link failure (assuming you don't use that IP interface in your data path...). 100M connection will fully work.

The vPC peer link should be robust. A recommended practice is for the peer-link port-channel to contain links off two separate modules if possible.
If this only link and if you connect to other switch that is again dependency, and it will be more likely split brain situations.
