CSPC 2.9.0.2 Update fails

Anyone else having issues installing CSPC update 2.9.0.2.  It always gets stuck at Apply-In-Progress then errors out.

i was this ever resolved?  I'm having an issue upgrading from 2.9.0.1 to 2.9.1 where it goes to initiating and then dies ... no error in the GUI.

 

cli is like this:

90% of the updates to CSPC fail.  All the functionality is on the portal, why not just make this collector simpler?

 

I have had to re-install the collector every time we did a major upgrade.  The instructions for how to upgrade don't work...  Then the 2.9 system won't even install its own patches...  I'm telling my company to deploy this across 12 regional sites and it will be Egg on my face when all the engineers find the same problems I've had.

 

Fortunately the SNTC Portal is worth it... but if you look at this product which it is a product.... It is not representative of Cisco's level of quality control across other products.

 

I know its free, but this tool is a bridge where Cisco and the Customer agree to work together on the equipment lifecycle.  It should not  be this hard to upgrade....  Go ask LiveAction how they do upgrades, because we did their entire system update for 3 years in 30 minutes... Moved from version 8.3 to 21.2, and the longest part of the update was the download of the image...  And their image was smaller than yours also.
