Error generating Entitlement File

Cisco SmartNet
Level 1
Level 1

Hello again,

DA registered, Portal up, when we try to generate the entitlement file there is this error message:

Already tried on 3 different browsers, cleaned cookies, browser language in en-us.

The only strange thing is that the company name is blank, but the DA registration went well and we chose the company's address correctly.

Client's CCO-ID is: targino2010

What could be this time? I mean, this process should be much smoother and sometimes each step presents a problem that must be troubleshooted. Cisco must fix or simplify this whole process ASAP.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Hello,

There is a known issue, and our backend team is working to resolve this ASAP.  Service will be restored shortly; I will reach out when you can generate the entitlement successfully.

Please see a similar post below:

Hello,

Is it fixed? I did not heard anything from you since Friday and I don't want to stress even more our client trying to generating the entitlement file just to see it fails with a generic error message.

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your patience on this matter, our backend end team is still working on the entitlement generation issue. I will be sure to update you as soon as this issue has been resolved.

Hello,

The entitlement issue is fixed. Can you please try to download the entitlement now?

Hi there,

I still can't generate the entitlement file. Same message as before:

Tried on 3 different browsers, cleaned cookies, changed the csp and inventory names many times, etc, etc. Same message...

Isn't it possible for any of you from the sntc internal team generate this entitlement and send it to me?

The DA is targino2010.

If not, what's going on and how can we fix this?

Thanks.

Hello,

So, any help on this matter?

My client is waiting and honestly? I have no clue what's the problem.

Thanks

Good morning,

Your account's registration seems to have a unique exception. This seems to be the cause for the error you are encountering.

We've engaged the backend team to investigate, however, no update has been provided.

I will follow up when an update is obtained from the backend team.

Regards,

Cesar

Hi there,

The only thing out of ordinary is that by some reason on the "Generate a new CSP-C entitlement" page the company name is not displayed.

But when we registered the DA, it was all fine.

Could you be a little more specific on what is this "unique exception"?

Thanks.

This exception is an internal exception on the Cisco side. Nothing wrong on your part.

But again, the root cause of the exception must be determined by the backend team. We're pending their investigation to obtain more details.

Regards,

Cesar

Hello,

Did your backend find anything over my problem?

It's been a week since our last contact.

Thanks

Hello,

This issue is still not fixed, it is related to the company potentially being registered to more than one Smart Service simultaneously.

However, no workaround has been provided either at this time.

Regards,

Cesar

I wanted to provide an update.

This is still not solved, however it is being tracked via: CSCvd76328

Cesar

Hi Cesar,

Isn't it possible to solve this problem internally?

Is there anything that I or my client can do to help?

Thanks!

Can you please send me a private message? I have some info to share with you privately.
