Cisco Common Services Platform Collector (CSCP) 2.9 Release Announcement - Upgrade Required
September 25, 2020, Cisco is pleased to announce the release of CSPC 2.9. CSPC 2.9 is required for all new installations. For existing CSPC 2.8 installations, migration scripts will be made available at the end of October. Once migration scripts are available, all customers will be required to install CSPC 2.9 as the underlying OS version (CentOS 6) is approaching EoL in November 2020. With this release, support for CSPC 2.7 will be discontinued.
We addressed several critical security vulnerabilities and important defects in this release. CSPC 2.9 is now powered by Cent OS 8 and VMware ESXi 6.5(applicable to hardware appliance). For additional Information please refer to the CSCP 2.9 Release Notes.

Onboarding assistance with remote resources who engages with you to deploy the Cisco software collector and access the portal. Train you on smart capabilities, and provide guidance on collections management. Installed base reconciliation, including data cleanup and installed base reporting. Technical support for the portal and collections through TAC.

Support Case Manager Update!
Beginning October 10, you'll notice a simplified customer experience in the Support Case Manager. We've reduced the number of Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) case statuses that are shown.
The benefits of this simplification are Simpler, streamlined view with 6 case statuses instead of 14, Consistent naming and user experience across Cisco portals and Support Case Manager, Clear communication with Cisco. Take a look at the FAQ for more information.
