CBS350-8T-E-2G : how to use the SFP ports ?

I have a new (for me) CBS350-8T-E-2G.

There are 2 SFP ports but i'can't connect them. They stay ever down.

How can we use them ?

Some devices have combo ports like other enterprise :

Some SFP interfaces are shared with one other RJ-45 and SFP+ port, called a combo port. When the SFP is active, the adjacent RJ-45 port is disabled.

OK, but i try to connect the SFP+ on port 9 (port 9 rj45 is free) to a router (in fact a internet box) with a dac and that doesn't work.

It works only if i connect a rj45 port to the box as source.

I don't understand why ...

Maybe the DAC is not supported in this case. Just try "normal" modules with the same spec on both sides and a short cable. I never used DAC cables between different vendors or different device classes.

I have CISCO CBS350-8MGP-2X and NETGEAR MS510TX linked with a DAC cable. Both are SFP+ and the link works just fine.

You are trying to connect a 10G SFP+ DAC into a 1G SFP slot. The CBS350-8T-E-2G has 2 units of 1G SFP slots while the other switch, CBS350-8MGP-2X that works, has 2 units of 10G SFP+ slots. Your 10G SFP+ DAC will never work with the CBS350-8T-E-2G.

cbs350-24t-4g-in and  cbs350-8t-in works fine with  sfp MGBLX1 in both switch . I want to connect another cbs350-24t switch to existing cbs350-8t with MGBLX1 but port up,
