hello, we require a 1 GB switch with minimum 6 SFP and 8 Gigabit ethernet

I was looking at the Small Business 350 series but could not find anything?

I need to connect single mode fiber using LC connector.

I also need to connect my firewall using 1 GB Ethernet.

Do we have recomendation on somethign that will work?

There is some model before 550 SMB switch (but end of life)

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/550x-series-stackable-managed-switches/index.html

For that range, you can look Meraki switch

https://meraki.cisco.com/product/switches/stackable-access-switches/ms390-48/

In long run, I would look Cat 9K switches.

you can compare models:

48 port is too much

what about

CBS350-24S-4G-NA

Thoughts?

Those models did not get the 6 SFP that you looking....also they coming end of life soon I guess.

if you have 4 SFP, then you have a choice more, only higher models have 6 SFP ports

look at Meraki, they have also gotten a dashboard from the cloud to manage devices.

Hi,

You may check the model CBS350-16XTS if that fits your requirements.

More details for that CBS350-16XTS switch model are available on the data sheet https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/business-350-series-managed-switches/datasheet-c78-744156.html

Are SFP+ ports backward compatible with 1G SFP optics?

Hi,

As per the CBS350 series switch admin guide, the SFP+ ports are compatible with the Cisco SFP 1G optical modules MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1 and MGBT1.

You may refer the admin guide link https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbms/CBS_250_350/Administration-Guide/cbs-350.pdf

To get 6 SFP you need to move to the 10GB switches.  You can use these with SFPs or SPF+s

CBS350-16XTS would be the smallest (8 copper, 8 SFP+).  24XTS next up (12/12)

it turns out we only require 3 SFP.  the other connections can be copper. so, any switch with 4 SFP uplink module should do the trick .i was looking at the Meraki MS120-24P.  (Especially since lead times on ordering is like 1 days.)

Meraki is good option for this
