SF300-48p static IP address for Vlan

I am trying to set a static IP address to a vlan on a SF300-48p with no success.

When I set the IP address for the vlan I lose connection to the switch from the GUI (also tried with CLI SSH & the same thing happens). It is necessary to reset switch to connect via GUI/CLI again.

Trying to keep it simple:-

Vlan management -> Vlan settings -> Vlan 10 (enabled in popup, disabled on main page)

IP configuration -> IPv4 interface -> Add Vlan 10 -> Static IP 192.168.10.254 -> Mask 255.255.255.0

Apply -> connection lost & switch reset required.

Tried with Firmware versions: 1.2.7.76/1.3.7.18 /1.4.0.88/14.1.15

Boot version: 1.3.5.06

Tried with various combinations:

Ports to Lan -> none

Ports to Lan ->Interface FE1 access mode / vlan 10 untagged

Ports to Lan ->Interface FE1 trunk mode /vlan 10 tagged

Ports to Lan -> Interface FE1 trunk mode /vlan 10 untagged

Note Vlans can be added if IP address type is set to dynamic.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There is no error message - nothing in the log files.

The popup window where you set vlan id & IP address etc. just becomes unresponsive & I have to click the "X" to close.

The main window comes up with "no internet access" after clicking refresh.

Reset the switch,  reload browser & then login prompt page comes back.

is this only VLAN available in the Switch? or do you have VLAN 1 also present?

Yes - Vlan 1 is set as default (192.168.1.254)

I have reset everything back to factory defaults.

Did you manage to fix this.

Can you post the full output of sh run?

This is it - about as basic as it can get....
