We tried to upgrade to firmware version 1.1.2.0. We got through the update fine, but the Cisco phones (7962's) would not power on from the POE. we reverted back to version 1.0.0.27 and they worked fine.
Model Description: 48-port 10/100 PoE Managed Switch
Firmware Version (Active Image): 1.0.0.27
Serial Number: DNI15270196
Firmware MD5 Checksum (Active Image): 1987292110f5657e74308dde30c03dc4
PID VID: SRW248G4P-K9 V01
Firmware Version (Non-active): 1.1.2.0
Maximum Available Power(W): 375
Firmware MD5 Checksum (Non-active): fe409d47cd64cdd2330d75f3b89be9f9
Is there something we are overlooking?

Hi,
Why not try updating to the newest firmware v 1.2.5? What you posted in looks okay - but its not too much. I assume POE is enabled on the ports (port management -> PoE -> Settings) and there is power available (how much power are the other ports consuming, total?) ?
Just as a note, I am running 1.2.5 (and previously 1.1.2.0) on two SG300s with 7940s and 7960s which are working properly.
Best,
David

Helo David. Where did you get v1.2.5? I am unable to find it in the list on the Cisco download site. I am not sure if they pulled it but I have seen this before when there are release notes and no software to download. Thanks for any help.

Jelia, the 1.2.5.70 firmware has been removed by the business unit. The 1.1.2.0 is the current production release.
