2960X Upgrade Path from 15.2(2)E7 to 15.2.7E5 MD

Does anyone know if there are any intermediary updates that are required to move from 15.2(2)E7 to 15.2.7E5 MD on a WS-C2960X-24TD-L?

no you can directly upgrade.

Direct upgrade to 15.2(7)E5 is supported/allowed, however, I strongly recommend a cold reboot (pull the power cable) so the upgrade can be done "cleanly".  

IMPORTANT:  Expect a mandatory ROMMON/micro-code upgrade.  This will add, approximately, 14 minutes on top of the reboot.

I have seen many micro-code upgrades take around 30-40min. Just so you dont get scared when your switch is offline for up to 45min in total.

Thanks Leo. No one will be onsite - therefore a reload is all I can do since we are an MSP and do everything remotely in the middle of the night for the client.

I have done a handful of E3 ->E5 remotely with no issues. But I understand where you are coming from.

I'm facing with a problem during upgrade from 15.2(2)E5 to 15.2(7)E5.
after boot has been set and we are going with the reload then the swtch goes to Rommon mode what we should do next ? cold reebot ?and then it will boot correctly ?
