Hi All,
I want to upgrade 3750 stack ( 3- switch stacked ) . Could any one let me know which process will be the most efficient , less down time required .

3750 Series Switch Stack IOS Upgrade - Manual (.tar image)
Actually i want to install tra image / bin image during business hrs and want to reboot during down time.will it be possible.

Do i need to upgrade the sevice module also .AS those service module came with the devices .

Hi,
refer to the "Catalyst 3750-X and 3560-X Network Services Module Software" section in the following link.

you can use "archive download-sw" command to perform the IOS upgrade and if the service module is incompatible with the new IOS, it will inform you about that.

AFAIK, you dont need to. it should work fine.
whats the service module you are using.

Manual Tar upgrade and BIN upgrade exactly same. if you are not going to use the Web GUI, you dont need to TAR image.
The automatic TAR method makes your job easy and you dont need to do anything.
i am a manual guy who always wants to see what is happening and wants to control what its doing. if you are such guy, you could go for manual bin method.
if you want everything to be automated and hoping not to run into any issues during the automatic method, you can go for auto TAR method.
if you being a manual guy and wants to have GUI access, go for manual TAR method..
now, the choice is yours.
