Dear all,

Can someone confirm if WS-C3750X-48PF-S support poe on all 48 ports. We have IP phones connected to existing 3560s and we want to replace them. On cisco site it is written that  it is Stackable 48 10/100/1000 Ethernet PoE+ ports, with 1100W AC power supply. Then why 3560 E and 3750 E is recommended for dense poe deployment and they are expensive then 3750 X as well.

Regards

From actual device:

Switch Ports Model

>sh power inline

Module   Available     Used     Remaining

          (Watts)     (Watts)    (Watts)

Interface Admin  Oper       Power   Device              Class Max

Gi1/0/48  auto   on         15.4    Ieee PD             3     30.0

So, believe the answer to your first question is yes, PoE+ on all 48 ports.

NB: If you stack, you can "juggle" what you want to use for power supplies if you use the stack power.  (This is one of the new key features of the X series.)

Where 3560E/3750E recommended?  Perhaps documentation that predates X series?

"P" means PoE support but the "F" means FULL power.  SO the answer is YES.  This model will support 48 ports operating at 30.0w.
