Hello guys,
I found at Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches Datasheet that Catalyst 9200 supports 4096 VLAN ID's and Catalyst 9200L supports 1024 VLAN ID's.
So, it isn't possible to configure VLAN with ID's above 1024 on Catalyst 9200L switches?
Thank you!

Hello Jaderson,
The datasheet not talk about number of VLAN's but VLAN ID's.
FOR: C9200L-24T-4G, C9200L-24P-4G, C9200L-48T-4G, C9200L-48P-4G, C9200L-24T-4X, C9200L-24P-4X C9200L-48T-4X, C9200L-48P-4X, C9200L-24PXG-4X, C9200L-48PXG-4X, C9200L-24PXG-2Y, C9200L-24PXG-4X
VLAN ID's: 1024 , SVI's: 512
So, the Catalyst 9200L switches supports the configuration of ID's above 1024? Per example, with Extended-Range VLANs configuration is it possible?
Thanks!

Hi,
it is a maximum number of active VLANs at a time. You can create extended VLANs ID's.

Hi,
The max number of active vlans is 1024
Supported VLANs
The device supports VLANs in VTP client, server, and transparent modes. VLANs are identified by a number from 1 to 4094. VLAN 1 is the default VLAN and is created during system initialization.
You can configure up to 1024 VLANs on the C9200L and Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches.
You need to read the config guide for the IOS/XE version you are using.
As an example this is for version 16.12 and the VLAN config chapter.

Hi RKT,
Yes you can configure up to 1024 vlans to run at the same time.
Your VLAN ID numbers can be anything from
1 - 4094 but only 1024 of them.
Except 1002 to 1005 (Automatically created by switch and reserved for Token Ring & FDDI)
Please go to the 9200 config guide index and select the config guide for your IOS/XE version.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/switches/catalyst-9200-r-series-switches/products-installation-and-configuration-guides-list.html
Then look at the configuring VLANS chapter.
