Cisco 2960XR - SMI Director is not configured, disabling SMI

Hello,

I booted up a Cisco 2690XR-24PS switch and got this message. I tried looking online to see what the message is and all I can was this (see link). What is this message and is this something I should be worried about? Should I update the IOS just to be safe? Thanks for the help!

Hi,

The error is related to auto smart and does not appear to be harmful to the switch. Also, there is workaround suggested. Can you try that?

Workaround:
Disable the Smart Install feature manually using the no vstack configuration command immediately after initial installation, if this
feature is not used in your network.
