how did the switch go in to ROMMON, are you trying to upgrade ? ( EDIT-  saw you try to reset ?)

switch:set

switch:dir   ( to see what files in the flash)

or

the easy way is to copy the image to USB ( plug the USB and boot from USB and check what is wrong with Flash and files in the Flash)

       - Try   fsck flash:

no such command fsck

RMA the switch.  The flash is dead.

if flash is dead there is no way to replace the flash?

And why would anyone want to do that when it is easier to RMA the switch?

No one can ever use "because we do not have a Service Contract" as an excuse because Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty is included to every 9200 purchased.  Anyone can RMA the switch and a Service Contract is not necessary/required.

I have the same issue.
I called TAC, referred to E-LLW, said
"dir flash:
Unable to read ExtX super block
Error[1]: Failed to list directory!"
TAC said this is not a hardware issue, you need an active support contract...
May be I mail TAC and get an other response...

That error message means the serial number of the switch is registered to someone else.

@thomas.lutz in my case TAC himself raised the RMA. any way if its not RMA it will be new knowledge for all of us. kindly update if its not RMA thing

This switch was bought over our parent company. So for Cisco it may belong to an other company...

TAC might was right.
I could boot from usbflash. I just forgot I have to format the Stick in FAT.
Bootet from USB I could do a dir flash:
I had no time to check why it had problem to boot from flash. I will do it later.

Cat 9200 should accept latest version of USB , just try boot from USB do some troubleshoot see if you can fix.

other option as mentioned post RMA
