Cisco1921 IOS Firewall

Hi all

I intend to build a IOS firewall with DMZ on a Cisco 1921 router with security license. To get a third interface I will install a EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU modul.

Does anyone know if this coniguration works? Can I use this third interface as firewall port?

What about PPPoE? Is this protocol supported on this router?

You don't need an additional phisical interface to have a DMZ. Configure subinterface with tagging on the internal LAN interface, and add a VLAN on the LAN switch.
