Could someone give me a brief tutorial on how to effect a bandwidth policy that gives a dedicated amount of bandwidth to a particular VLAN on a 3560E?
I am attempting to give a particular client dedicated bandwidth on a new VLAN, which the client will be the only device on. This is for a special event, and will only be used in this particular circumstance.
I found the following in another post--could someone tell me if this would work for my purposes:
class-map match-all PRIORITY
match ip address 101
!
policy-map BANDWIDTH
class PRIORITY
bandwidth (What is this unit of measurement? Need 25 Mbps)
!
interface (This would go on the link to the router from the core, correct?)
service-policy output BANDWIDTH
!
access-list 101 permit ip x.x.x.x any (Can you do this to an entire VLAN rather than a single IP?)
