%ENTROPY-0-ENTROPY_ERROR: Unable to collect sufficient entropy

I get this nice error on a switch once every hour.

Switch type is WS-C2960S-48-TD-L, Software version 15.0(2)SE4.

Any idea what it means or what I can do to fix it (cant't restart it now!)?

Google has no results.

I just got this problem after upgrading IOS on my switch. It appears after 1 hour.

Anybody know about a solutuion?

We use this model when we have had these problems: WS-C2960S-48FPS-L

Current used IOS (without problems!):
c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-2.E1.bin

Used IOS durinng these errors/messages occured:
c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-2.E.bin

Probably it helps further...?!?

It seems to be a bug. Open a TAC case for DDTS # and SW recommendation.

I'm getting the same, only happened once I enabled one of the 10gig links at full capacity. WS-C2960S-48TD-L V06 running 15.2.2(E) on 12.2(55r)SE bootloader.

I've ran into this bug after trying to generate a 1024 bit RSA key on a 2960C after installing c2960c405-universalk9-tar.150-2.SE9.tar.

Has anybody found a fix yet?

Here the same. Upgraded an 2960S Stack with two members to c2960s-universalk9-tar.150-2.SE9.tar and then ssh dont work any more. On console i see these nice log messages.

I ran into this exact issue with c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE9.bin. Upgrading from this 15.0.2 image to 15.2.2E3 resolved the issue.
