GigabitEthernet1/0/21 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)

Hi Guys

Run into an issue with Cisco firepower module, I have a link coming from my ASA management port and going to a switch port within the same VLAN as the firepower module my issue is that on the switch side I have 

GigabitEthernet1/0/21 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)

*I have checked and change the cable.

*checked Duplex/speeds

*Port is not shutdown/disabled

Any thoughts??

are you using a straight-thru cable ? Does the ASA have Internet access ?

If i were you, i do simple test.

GigabitEthernet1/0/21 - Connect laptop to that and see if that works ?

same way other way around with firepower - connect laptop back to back and test.
