GLC-LH-SM problem between catalyst 4500 and 3750

I installed the same GLC-LH-SM module on a catalyst 4510 and a WS-C3750G-24TS. The module is recognized as LH on Cat4500 and as LX on Cat3750. Fiber has been tested several times and it is ok, but the link never comes up...I had to upgrade IOS version on cat3750 so it can recognize the module, actually its IOS is 12.2(25)see4 and on Cat4500 I have ios 12.2(31)SG. I read cat3750 supports this module, what am I missing?

Your code should be fine , make sure the transmit from one side goes to the recieve from the other side and vice versa . You may have to reverse the connector on one end of the patch cable.

Thanks for your answer. We already tried reversing the cables, the ports never come up.
