Hi,

One of the server of ILO port is connected to the switch.

I know the IP address and MAC address of this ILO port.

But i dont know this devices is connected to which switch.

ILO port of MAC and IP address are can't find main switch Mac address table.

But i can see under arp table of main switch via Vlan 1.

But VLAN 1 has multiple interfaces and some interfaces are connected to other switch again.

ILO port IP address is link with Vlan 1 interface.

If there any option to check this ILO port is connected to which switch.

Appreciate for your response. Thanks

Hello

perfrom this again from the core switch if you’ve not done this already and then trace the MAC address from there.

Hi,

Trying to ping the ILO IP address from the Main switch. You will get mac address in the mac table and run a command as:

traceroute mac <Source Mac address> <ILO MAC ADDRESS>
