how to monitor the activity of the switch, or how to identify which connections are remained inactive for long time
sample out puts is pasted below

Please let me know whats the command used to get the above output

If it is a 4500 then it's "show int link " . They are really the only ones that will easily give you that information . Wish they would include that command on all models , it seems to be a highly requested feature .

Thanks for that little gem, I have to look after 50 x 4506/4510's and that will come in handy. Just for info, it also works on 4948's.

Correct it would work on the 4948's because they run the same exact code as the 4500's .
