IE-1000 SFP Not Forwarding

I have a IE-1000 switch with a GLC-LH-SMD plugged into port 9. The switch sees the SFP but won't pass traffic. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry. The problem was at the other end.

Does the port actually come up?

No. The port just stayed dark. The trouble was the SG350 at the other end. Even though I changed the SG350 port speed to 1000, and it showed it on the webpage, it was stuck at 100. Once I rebooted the SG350, all worked.
