Hello, 

I am getting:

%IPV6_ND-SW2-6-DUPLICATE_INFO: DAD attempt detected for "x" on Vlan"x"

on

6880x

15.2(1)SY4

Its not that critical to open a tac case, but I wanted to find the mac address that causing this error.

There is a procedure to capture packets that are hitting the cpu and the svi,   but my syntax with the search engines is not working for me.

Can someone point me in right direction?

why not use Wireshark ? It has a filter for IPv6 traffic...

The Syntax i was referring to in my post was the search engines of Cisco and Google. 

I did try :

'monitor capture '

But that is not available in my code

Hello,

what you are referring to is EPC (Embedded Packet Capture), which is basically an integrated version of Wireshark. Unfortunately it is not supported at all on the 6880.
