ISSU upgrade not working on Cat9500

Hi,

Anyone experienced a similar problem to ours? We are trying  upgrade a Cat9500 border router via DNAC and via CLI, but we get the following:

Sep 14 23:00:12: %INSTALL-3-OPERATION_ERROR_MESSAGE: R0/0: install_engine: Failed to install_add_activate_commit package bootflash:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.03.SPA.bin, Error: install_add_activate_commit : Install ISSU in progress. Abort the ISSU upgrade to proceed

we are upgrading from 17.3.3 to 17.6.3 and the ISSU status is:

Do not believe in the hype about ISSU and FSU/eFSU/xFSU -- They only work in labs and "corner cases".  Most of the time, they fail in production environment.  

Please refrain from using ISSU and FSU/eFSU/xFSU. 

And please do not use DNAC to push firmware. 

OK, how do you recommend we upgrade?
