L3 connectvity

Hi,

I am planning the below topology,  access to core is layer 3 

My question , What if I do vss  in  between core 

Or between core also should be L3 ?  

Second question : the Asa firepower  Firewall  in active standby mode ? . Connection between firewall and core should be L3 or l2

You can deploy Layer 2 or Layer 3, if SVL and VSS - then I would go with Layer2 (again depends on requirement)
