I have a WS-C4948 Enterprise Services Switch that I would like to run NAT Overloading between 2 VLAN's. However, I tried assigning the inside and outside interfaces using the "ip nat outside" and "ip nat inside" commands. I have tried these under routed interfaces and vlan SVI's (i.e. Interface vlan1) and none would accept the nat configuration.
Is there a way to setup nat on a 4948 Switch with the enterprise feature set license? I only need this for outbound nat to translate several private IP's to a single public IP when connecting to the internet.

Catalyst switches will not and never do NAT.
Cisco's mantra has always been: If you want NAT, get a router.
NOTE: Just to confuse anyone, the command is there but you just won't go far and won't work.
