Nexus 3548-x MGMT

Hy All

In my network, there is MGMT vlan with DHCP to all devices that have MGMT interface requiring DHCP address allocation.
How i can (if passable) set the mgmt0 interface to DHCP and not static IP?

Tnx

Bad idea even if we can

we use mgmt to access nexus via ssh telent pint to see NSK status

Or use mgmt in server like ntp aaa etc.

Making it dynamic via dhcp will breaking all above.

Friend you need manually set mgmt interface IP

Best practice, since we know all the devices required fixed management IP so you can monitor and add them to TACACS for authentication, so even if you loose DHCP Server you still able to connect to device using IP address.

But you still insists to go with DHCP (that is the risk factory to consider) and make sur you reserve the IP address against all device as reservation - not suggested but your policies and your network how you manage them.

check the DHCP Config :

Tnx all for the answers.
the DHCP configuration is only for the initial configuration and setup of the SW.
After it's finished if will be given static ip in the mgmt vlan.
followup question is the sw have a web mgmt interface?

Sure if that is your PNP onboarding setup.

followup question is the sw have a web mgmt interface?  you can mgmt ip to access GUI if you looking any GUI (if the device supports )

I tried to configure the interface (MGMT0) to use DHCP but there isn't any option, only a static IP address:
