NTP Server

I am using a router as ntp server (it is master).

And other devices on the network are configured as slave.

When I run the show ntp status command, I check that the slave is not configured with the master address.

Can someone help me ?

To be more enlightening I send a print-screen.

Hello

Is the ntp server reachable?
any access-list negating ip or port communication?
any ntp authentication applied such a authentication/trusted key

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi, @balaji.bandi

I already resolved the problem.
But now i am with new problem.
At the slave i synchronize with master, but appear not synchronize.

Clock is unsynchronized, stratum 16, no reference clock
nominal freq is 119.2092 Hz, actual freq is 119.2081 Hz, precision is 2**17
reference time is DFEDBFE8.5903B7CF (15:25:28.347 UTC Sat Jan 19 2019)
clock offset is 0.0000 msec, root delay is 0.00 msec
root dispersion is 0.32 msec, peer dispersion is 0.00 msec
loopfilter state is 'CTRL' (Normal Controlled Loop), drift is 0.000009269 s/s
system poll interval is 64, last update was 41 sec ago.

Can you post the config of the device that you are using as master and the config of the slave device? Can you confirm that the slave device does have IP connectivity to the master?

Hello,

on a side note, in addition to the other posts, it can help if you manually set the clock to something close to the real time on the NTP server (using the 'clock set' exec command), usually your device will sync with the server after a few minutes then...
