output drops

Hi,

We have 4500 catalyst switch with sup V.

We are getting packet out drops from ESX connected trunk ports. There are no CRC or anything.

when we connect to 3750 switch which is connected to 4500 there is no output drop on 3750. What should be the problem?

Output drops can  be due to oversubscription on the 4500.  What type of module is being used?

What is connected to the port?

How about QoS, do you have it enabled?  'show int counters detail' may give you more info on what is being dropped.
