Hi everybody,
I have the following behavior applying service-policy on SVIs with two differences:
###########################################################################
Case 1: 2801 - IOS c2801-advipservicesk9-mz.124-18.bin - It works fine!!!
policy-map data
class class-default
police cir 4096000 bc 768000 be 1536000
conform-action transmit
exceed-action drop
violate-action drop
!
interface Vlan113
no ip address
ip flow ingress
ip flow egress
ip route-cache flow
load-interval 30
bridge-group 2
service-policy input data
service-policy output data
!
###########################################################################
Case 2: 2811 - IOS c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T5.bin - It works fine!!!
policy-map data
class class-default
police cir 4096000 bc 768000 be 1536000
conform-action transmit
exceed-action drop
violate-action drop
!
interface Vlan113
no ip address
ip flow ingress
ip flow egress
load-interval 30
bridge-group 2
!
(config)#int vl113
(config-if)#service-policy input data
Configuration failed!
###########################################################################
So, my question is, the above behavior depends on the IOS or something else?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Thatikonda,
Yes. I forgot to say I'm using HWIC-4ESW for the SVI.Additionally Cisco documentation says it works with version 15.1 or later.
The point is, I can't understand why it works on version 12.4-18.
Regards.
