I have a stack of three 3750X-24P-S switches.
Each switch has two PSU's.
If I do a SH INVENT, switch 2 only lists Power Supply 0
If, however I do a SESS 2 onto the second switch in the stack and then do a SH INVENT, it shows both power supplies.
Has anyone seen this before - is it anything to be concerned about?
Many thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
Did you perform any hot insert of the power supply on switch? when did you started to see this issue?
Could you check the #show environment power and verify do you see the power supply detail, If you could see the detail there, this seems to matching with a known DDTS
CSCtn63506 - Power supplies don't appear in 'show inventory' when hot inserted
Symptom:
When hot inserting power supplies and powering up in Incredibles, power supplies appear in 'show environment power' but do not appear in 'show inventory'.
Conditions:
The issue occurs on FRU PS for X-Series.
Workaround
There is no workaround.
The issue does not affect an actual power supply.
Please try to perform soft reload of switch which doesnt show the power supply detail then check the status
Regards,
Aru

Yes, one of them was most definitely hot swapped, although I dont think the other was and I cannot reload that one for operational reasons. On the one where I know it was hot-swapped, a sh environ power switch 2 (total of 3 in the stack) shows both PSU's the same as a SH INVENT does when you SESS 2 onto that particulat stack member. Its just a SH INVENT on the stack that does not list it.
Good to know that the PSU is actually working ok, which I sort of guessed it was from the total available power.
Many thanks Aru
